Massachusetts system opens retail pharmacy

Brockton, Mass.-based Signature Healthcare has opened a retail pharmacy in East Bridgewater, Mass., in partnership with specialty pharmacy services provider Clearway Health.

The 895-square-foot pharmacy opened March 12 in a multispecialty medical office building and will provide prescription filling, home delivery, immunizations and over-the-counter medications.

The expansion comes as pharmacy access declines statewide. The number of pharmacies in Massachusetts fell from 1,134 to 940 — a 17.1% decline — according to a March 12 news release from Clearway.

The location is Signature Healthcare’s second pharmacy. Its first opened in Brockton in August 2022.
