“When I was choosing a career, I wanted to do something where I could see the real impact on people's lives, and I found that healthcare offers this like no other industry can. This has become even more important to me in the last few years when my mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Watching what it takes to manage that diagnosis, the appointments, the specialty medications, the insurance approvals, coordination between doctors and pharmacists and other caregivers, the list goes on and on. It showed me first hand how much attention it takes just to keep a patient on track, even in a situation like ours where my family can show up with her every step of the way. This experience has reinforced something I already believed, and that's that the work I lead at Clearway Health matters enormously for patients.”
